My core passions include:

• Helping families grow stronger and healthier together
• Empowering individuals of all ages to find their voice and purpose
• Supporting recovery and healing from trauma

A Bit About Me

I’ve been married for over 25 years and am the proud parent of three adult children. Our home in rural Central Texas is shared with dogs, cats, and a lively flock of ducks who enjoy our backyard pond. I grew up in a small town in Southeast Texas, earned my undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, and completed my graduate studies at Texas State University in San Marcos.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me snuggling with my dogs, reading, watching movies, practicing yoga, playing games with my family, or “piddling around” in the yard and garden. Life in the middle of nowhere suits me just fine—it’s where I find peace, joy, and connection.

My journey to becoming a licensed therapist began with a lifelong passion for helping others. After earning my Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University in 2005, I spent several years working in social services before pursuing my Master’s in Professional Counseling from St. Edward’s University, which I completed in 2013.

Since then, I’ve built a diverse and meaningful career supporting teens, young adults, and adults through challenges related to substance use, mental health, and life transitions. My experience spans a variety of settings, including:

• Substance abuse treatment programs
• School-based counseling
• Juvenile and adult probation
• Residential and outpatient programs
• Community mental health clinics

I’ve facilitated individual, group, and family therapy sessions, always with a focus on creating a safe, supportive space for healing and growth.

My Approach

Therapy can be challenging—but it can also be transformative. As your therapist, I strive to be honest, transparent, and empowering throughout your journey. I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as:

• Motivational Interviewing
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Solution-Focused Therapy

My goal is to help you uncover your strengths, navigate obstacles, and become the best version of yourself.

A Bit About Me

I’m a proud Central Texas native who loves discovering new food spots—locally and beyond. I’m an avid reader of mystery, thriller, and historical fiction, and I cherish time spent with my family. One of my favorite things to do is enjoy live music, especially in the vibrant venues around Central Texas.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), my passion lies in helping individuals, couples, and families better understand themselves and each other. I believe that healing begins in relationships—whether with a partner, a parent, or even with your therapist—and that feeling seen, heard, and secure is the foundation for meaningful change.

After earning my Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University in 2017, I moved across the country to attend Northwestern University’s Marriage and Family Therapy program. There, I gained invaluable experience working with diverse populations in a variety of clinical settings. Upon returning to Texas, I began working with children and adolescents in residential treatment, supporting both them and their families through trauma recovery and emotional growth.

My Approach to Therapy

I use an integrative, systemic lens—meaning I tailor therapy to each client’s unique context, relationships, and goals. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I collaborate with you to find creative, personalized solutions that feel authentic and sustainable.

I’m trained in:

• Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI)
• Trauma-Informed Care, supported by extensive experience in trauma work within residential treatment settings
• ADHD and Autism Spectrum

In our sessions, I encourage honesty and authenticity—even in moments of resistance or uncertainty. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, with compassion and curiosity, while supporting you in moving toward the life and relationships you want to build.

A Bit About Me

I currently reside in Central Texas, where I enjoy a quiet and creative life outside of work. You’ll often find me gardening, spending time with my pets, thrift and antique shopping, embroidering, playing games with friends, or connecting with my family. These moments of joy and reflection help me stay grounded and present—qualities I bring into the therapy room.

While I bring clinical expertise and therapeutic tools, you remain the expert on your life, your relationships, and your story. I’m honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

A Bit About Me

I’m a proud first-generation daughter of immigrant parents and the mother of a bright elementary school boy. I understand firsthand the unique challenges that come with being first-gen, and I bring that empathy and insight into my work. I was born and raised in Central Texas, and when I get the chance, I love traveling with my son to México to visit family.

In my free time, you’ll find me lifting weights, reading, attending live music shows, or relaxing at home with my cats.
